<p style="text-align:left">Job Description</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>GULF, Libya &amp; Egypt Cardiometabolic Brand and Customer Manager</b></p><p><u>Location: </u>Dubai, UAE <br /><u>Regional responsibility: </u>GULF, Libya &amp; Egypt</p><div></div><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>The GULF, Libya &amp; Egypt (GLE) Cardiometabolic Brand and Customer Manager will lead our cardiometabolic portfolio in a strategic and highly visible role.</p><p></p><p>This position has two main pillars:</p><p>1. <b>Lead a major new launch in cardiovascular (lipid-lowering)</b> – shaping and executing the launch strategy for one of our most important future growth drivers in the region.</p><p><b>2. Manage our established diabetes portfolio</b> – overseeing a solid, established brand/franchise and maximizing key opportunities across the GLE markets.</p><p>You will be responsible for market understanding, brand strategy development and execution, cross-functional leadership, and close partnership with Sales and other key functions.</p><div></div><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p><b>Brand Strategy &amp; Planning</b></p><ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of GLE brand strategies for the cardiovascular launch and established diabetes portfolio.</li><li>Translate global/cluster strategies into localized, insight-driven brand plans for GULF, Libya and Egypt.</li><li>Define clear objectives, positioning, value propositions and key messages for priority customer segments.</li><li>Develop annual brand plans and tactical plans with clear KPIs and performance measures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cardiovascular Launch Leadership </b></p><ul><li>Own the end-to-end launch strategy and execution for the new cardiovascular lipid-lowering brand.</li><li>Drive launch readiness: milestones, success metrics, go-to-market model, and resource planning.</li><li>Lead pre-launch and launch activities, including KOL and stakeholder engagement and impactful launch campaigns.</li><li>Monitor competitive dynamics and adjust launch tactics to secure strong and sustainable uptake.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Established Diabetes Portfolio Management</b></p><ul><li>Manage and optimize performance of the established diabetes portfolio across GLE.</li><li>Identify and prioritize growth and defense opportunities by segment, geography and channel.</li><li>Execute tactical initiatives to sustain and grow market share, brand equity and profitability for the existing brands.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Market &amp; Customer Insights</b></p><ul><li>Build deep understanding of the cardiometabolic (with focus on cardiology) landscape in GULF, Libya and Egypt.</li><li>Analyze market data, competitive intelligence and treatment patterns to identify opportunities and risks.</li><li>Generate and apply actionable customer insights from HCPs, KOLs and payers to guide strategies and tactics.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Digital &amp; Omnichannel Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Design and implement digital and omnichannel initiatives (e.g., email, webinars, remote engagement, web content, compliant social/digital channels) supporting both the launch and established portfolio.</li><li>Integrate digital and field activities to deliver a coherent customer experience.</li><li>Use analytics to track engagement and impact, adjusting content, targeting and channel mix based on insights.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cross-Functional Leadership &amp; Collaboration</b></p><ul><li>Lead the cross-functional brand team (Sales, Market Access, Policy, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, etc.) to ensure aligned and integrated execution.</li><li>Partner with Market Access and Policy to support access, pricing and policy initiatives aligned to brand priorities.</li><li>Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure scientifically sound, compliant communication and strong medical–marketing synergy.</li><li>Manage agencies and external partners to deliver high-quality promotional and educational materials.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Execution, Performance &amp; Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with Sales to ensure strong execution in the field, including clear direction, tools and training.</li><li>Track performance versus KPIs (sales, market share, uptake, digital metrics, engagement) and adjust plans accordingly.</li><li>Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards and local regulations.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in any relevant field (Pharma/Business)</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.</li><li>Proven experience in marketing and/or brand management with responsibility for strategy and execution.</li><li>Direct experience working in the <b>GULF</b> pharmaceutical market.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into effective strategies and actions.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence and align diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrix environment.</li><li>Ability and willingness to be <b>based in Dubai</b>.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>Direct experience working in the <b>GULF</b> pharmaceutical market is preferred</li><li>Experience in the <b>Cardiometabolic and/or Cardiology</b> therapeutic area</li><li>Proven experience with <b>product launches</b>, ideally in cardiovascular or other specialty areas.</li><li>Strong background in <b>digital/omnichannel marketing</b>.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Travel Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Willingness and ability to travel within the GULF, Libya &amp;
