Support end-to-end material planning based on production demand and MRP requirements.
Release purchase orders (POs) to suppliers in line with demand plans and material requirements.
Use Kinaxis for material planning, inventory management, and monitoring material availability.
Coordinate with local and international suppliers for PO execution, order acknowledgements, shipment confirmations, and timely material delivery.
Follow up with suppliers to address material shortages and potential delivery risks that could impact production commitments.
Coordinate inbound logistics activities and work with relevant customs teams for imported materials.
Support internal material processes, including OE, IG, GRN, IQC, and movement of materials to production lines.
Monitor inventory levels and support maintaining approximately two weeks of safety stock to enable uninterrupted production.
Work with suppliers to manage changes in demand, including material pull-ins and push-outs, while balancing production requirements and inventory levels.
Monitor material shortages, identify potential causes, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to support timely resolution.
Maintain accurate material planning and inventory information to support effective production planning and execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sourcing, quality, logistics, and other supply chain stakeholders, to ensure material availability.
Support continuous improvement activities related to material planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred. Candidates from Electrical, Electronics, or other relevant engineering disciplines may also be considered.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
Basic understanding of material planning, MRP, inventory management, manufacturing, or supply chain concepts.
Exposure to Kinaxis or other material planning/ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to organize priorities and follow through on material-related actions in a dynamic production environment.
