It means we dare to do the big studies in the real world, utilising primary and secondary data, leading the field in evidence generation and external scientific engagement. </div><div> </div><div>Accountabilities </div><div><ul><li>Partner with global therapeutic area (TA) medical teams to develop medical strategies and KPIs that demonstrate medical value and impact </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive data collection, analysis and reporting to monitor ongoing medical strategic alignment, performance and impact; overlay and leverage key data sets to demonstrate cause and effect </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure on-time, quality analysis and data for medical performance reviews; leverage TA/brand strategic knowledge and insight to guide recommendations and decision-making, supporting and challenging where appropriate </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lever expertise to drive programs that inform medical performance in partnership with TAs and other stakeholders </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collate and react to evolving data needs and stakeholder feedback and requirements; lever expertise to deliver creative solutions to meet growing needs of the business </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop performance related communications in partnership with medical leadership to ensure full awareness of medical performance expectations </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Influence the design of medical platforms that capture medical activity and impact </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive consistent utilization of global medical dashboards across global, regional, and local medical teams; identify improvement opportunities based on stakeholder input </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collate insights from various sources including field medical teams that can be leveraged to inform and influence global, regional, and local strategy </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Keep abreast of external medical performance landscape and emerging needs; provide counsel, expertise, and influence to ensure that AZ Medical teams are consistently recognized as differentiated and valued partners by our customers </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Foster an aligned, performance-driven and engaged field medical leader community </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Adopt a collaborative, cross functional working culture to ensure a data and performance led mindset across the brands and TAs </li></ul></div><div> </div></div><div><div>Skills and Experiences </div><div><ul><li>Ability to digest and appraise multiple data sets/performance measures to identify themes and trends </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Highly organized and technically capable; able to navigate data and digital platforms </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Robust understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs, including field medical teams </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Degree in health sciences or biomedical engineering preferred </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of Respiratory, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Renal, and/or Metabolic therapeutic area(s) preferred </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to work effectively and influence cross functionally and cross-culturally </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Independent and strategic thinking </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Effective problem solving using creative solutions </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
