The team operates as a strategic nerve center, integrating security, business continuity, and crisis response into the fabric of the business. By collaborating with regional resilience hubs and various corporate functions—from Global Engineering to People &amp; Culture—the department ensures 24/7 readiness and technical excellence in safeguarding Roche’s people, assets, and reputation.</span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><span>As the Global Head - Security, Resilience and Emergency Management, you will be the enterprise lead for protecting the organization against complex, evolving threats. Serving as a strategic partner to the Board of Directors and Corporate Executive Committee, you will direct everything from executive protection and travel security to product crime investigations and large-scale crisis response. You are a resilient leader capable of navigating a highly matrixed environment, driving a culture of accountability, and ensuring the business remains operational regardless of the challenges faced.</span></p><p></p><p></p><h3><span>The Opportunity</span></h3><ul><li><p><span>Strategic Advisory: Serve as the global partner to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, providing expert counsel on emerging risks, resilience performance, and strategic security initiatives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Crisis &amp; Emergency Command: Lead the global emergency management and crisis response programs, acting as the Corporate Crisis Manager and deputizing for the Chief SHE Officer when required.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Operational Resilience: Oversee the global Business Continuity Management (BCM) program and manage regional resilience hubs to ensure 24/7 proactive support for global operations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Asset &amp; People Protection: Direct the global executive protection program and business travel security protocols, maintaining robust technical directives to ensure the ongoing safety of all personnel.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Product Integrity: Lead the global product crime investigation organization in collaboration with the Anti-Counterfeiting Council to proactively mitigate threats to product safety and brand.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Performance &amp; Governance: Define and monitor global KPIs and objectives, ensuring all security and resilience strategies align with international standards and local regulatory requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Team Leadership &amp; Growth: Strategically scale a high-impact team, focusing on professional upskilling, recruitment, and fostering an inclusive environment rooted in psychological safety and mutual respect.</span></p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3></h3><h3><span>Who You Are</span></h3><ul><li><p><span>Educational Excellence: Holds a Master’s degree or equivalent in law, security management, or business continuity, ideally supplemented by professional certifications like CBCMP or FEMA.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Seasoned Executive: At least 10 years of experience in a similar global head role or senior law enforcement position within a large multinational, with direct experience influencing Board-level leadership.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Crisis Expert: Proven track record of leading complex emergency and crisis responses across geographically diverse and multicultural environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Matrix Navigator: Extensive experience (10&#43; years) operating within complex matrix structures, demonstrating the ability to drive change and develop collaborative solutions across global divisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Visionary Leader: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable, scalable solutions and a commitment to nurturing high-potential talent through proactive accountability.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span>Ready for the next step?
