Join Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) as a Global Business Process Specialist Financial Compliance – Financial Approvals. In this role, you will be an integral part of the RSS Business Process Management Financial Compliance Chapter, reporting directly to the Financial Compliance Chapter Lead. As Global Business Process Specialist Financial Compliance – Financial Approvals you will be responsible for the following:
Process Maintenance & Execution: Support the implementation of the E2E Business Process Management (BPM) strategy across the global Financial Approvals and Delegation of Authority (DoA) domain.
Multi-Platform Configuration: Ensure the Financial Approvals Engine functions seamlessly across an integrated network of calling systems, including myBuy, SAP S/4HANA, Fieldglass, and MeetingSelect.
Agile Delivery & Testing: Act as a key business representative within the Agile Release Train (ART). Translate regional business needs into actionable user stories, collaborate closely with IT delivery squads, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Operational Compliance & Governance: Safeguard financial compliance by applying global guardrails to local requirements. Help implement complex legal and tax approval rules (such as regional hub overrides or specific contract-signing logic) without disrupting standard system performance.
Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate system errors, workflow bottlenecks, and master data discrepancies. Perform root-cause analysis on compliance or operational issues and design practical, sustainable fixes.
Process Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly review process performance metrics (e.g., system lead times, workflow exceptions) to identify areas for continuous improvement and lean optimization.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics, Engineering or a comparable education. 5-7 years professional experience, preferably in Business Process Management, Information Management / IT, Finance/Procurement, Risk/Internal Control Management, Accounting, Audit
Solid process knowledge in end-to-end finance and procurement workflows, with hands-on experience or strong technical familiarity with SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA. Proven methodological skills in continuous improvement and process management (e.g., BPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and experience working within an Agile framework (SAFe/Scrum).
Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills to effectively manage the needs of local finance stakeholders, global stakeholders and global template teams. Strong analytical thinking and an innovative mindset to drive creative process improvements, paired with high attention to detail and a problem-solving focus. Comfortable handling ambiguity, working with a customer-centric mindset, and taking decisions.
Experience in working in multicultural teams, organizational and project management skills, especially in matrix structures, considering/balancing interests of senior stakeholders from different functions. Solid change management and conflict management skills and experience. Strong influencing skills and ability to work in complex global networks with international teams. fluency in English
