gLIMS Orbit Hub Lead
Location: Hyderabad
As the gLIMS Orbit Hub Lead, you will be fully accountable for the performance and outcomes of the offshore Orbit team, ensuring SOP-driven gLIMS support tasks are executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with global standards. Acting as the primary interface between Orbit, GLO, LLO, offshore IT, and local gLIMS teams, you will own daily operations, output quality, and rapid issue resolution. This role drives team independence through Orbit-specific training, fosters cross-cultural collaboration, and ensures audit readiness while continuously optimizing processes and stakeholder communication.
Operations Management: Own and drive daily operations, workload distribution, and output quality for master data, validation, KPI reporting, and documentation. Ensure issues are resolved swiftly and outcomes meet global standards.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and coordinate the offshore Orbit team to deliver SOP-driven tasks accurately and on time. Provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports.
Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary interface between Orbit, GLO, LLO, and offshore IT, enabling end-to-end execution and rapid escalation/fix of issues.
Accountability: Serve as the single point of accountability for GLO, taking ownership to resolve problems and deliver solutions without delay.
Training & Capability Building: Own and maintain the Orbit training concept (design, rollout, adherence, effectiveness) to ensure team independence from GLO.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs and data quality, implementing improvements and driving “Right-First-Time” performance.
Cultural Ambassador: Set clear service standards, calibrate quality/urgency, and enable effective cross-cultural communication.
Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure compliance with global standards, SOPs, and CSV requirements. Maintain audit readiness and support periodic reviews.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations and corrective actions for identified Orbit issues or quality gaps. Escalate risks and unclear instructions to GLO.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization and support implementation of new tools, systems, and ways of working.

Direction: Establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives, receiving guidance in terms of broad goals. Only final results are typically reviewed.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field (IT, Chemistry, or equivalent).
Comparable professional experience in CSV, laboratory environments, QC, or software administration preferred.
Proven leadership in managing diverse, high-performing teams.
Experience with gLIMS or digital lab systems in regulated environments (GMP, data integrity).
Skills & Attributes
Strong stakeholder management and ability to act as the primary interface across global, local, and offshore functions.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization, change management, and continuous improvement.
High accountability for operational outcomes, rapid issue resolution, and team performance.
Skilled in designing and delivering training concepts and building team capability.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP, MES, TrackWise, and Kneat is a plus.
