Description
Aphios Corporation, a clinical-stage, ESG-focused biotechnology company developing green enabling technologies and advanced therapeutics, is seeking a Part-Time General Research Technician to support its nanotechnology-based drug and vaccine research efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a novel Alzheimer’s disease drug and a combination nanoparticle therapeutic aimed at reducing relapse in Substance Use Disorder. Key Responsibilities include assisting senior researchers in the development of nanotechnology-based therapeutics and vaccines, performing biological and chemical assays in compliance with SOPs, maintaining accurate lab records and documentation, and operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical laboratory equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field; Minimum 5 years of experience as a research technician; Hands-on experience with chemical/biological assay techniques; Ability to maintain and repair lab instrumentation; Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
