What we do at AMGEN matters in people’s lives.</span></p><p></p><p><u><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Supply Chain Manager</b></span></u></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>LIVE</b></span><span class="emphasis-3"><b> </b></span></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO </b></span><br />• Ensure supply leveraging the service level agreements and adhere to a<br />cost effective European distribution strategy.<br />• Execute with a strong focus on cold chain management and timely and<br />correct transportation of Amgen shipments.<br />• Establish and maintain an external and internal network enabling EU<br />Supply Chain to advance on priorities and key initiatives.<br />• Document and maintain procedures relating to cold chain for the effective<br />transportation of Amgen products from source to customer.<br />• Apply Continuous improvement principles while designing, implementing<br />and sustaining distribution solutions with focus on cold chain<br />• Implement best in class solution for supply chain partner management.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b><br />• Ensure supply, meet service levels and stay within budget in a GDP<br />compliant way.<br />• Develop, select and implement cold chain solutions in the Amgen Supply<br />chain<br />• Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain<br />partners on current business, escalations, reporting and improvements.<br />• Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners<br />by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on appropriate<br />management level.<br />• Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.<br />• Showcase continuous improvement mindset to identify savings and other<br />efficiency opportunities and drive results to finish line while improving<br />quality, performance and GDP compliance.<br />• Assess implications of emerging trends or country legislation changes that<br />may affect current distribution solution and cold chain practices<br />• Build internal network within affiliates and corporate functions and<br />participate in projects to achieve results in line with Global Distribution Hub<br />EMEA priorities and key initiatives.<br />• Plan, build and manage distribution lanes for the region</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>WIN</b></span></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU</b></span></p><p>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.</p><p><b>Competencies:</b><br />• Analytical and conceptual thinking<br />• Negotiation and influencing skills, organizational sensitivity<br />• Networking & cross- functional stakeholder engagement<br />• Results driven<br />• Operational Excellence and transformation mindset</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b><br />The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.</p><p><br /><b>Minimum Requirements:</b><br />• Master degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change<br />Management or Industrial Engineering & 2 years of directly related experience<br />• 5+ years experience in the logistics industry, in a role of supplier management<br />• Supply chain, cold chain and warehousing expertise<br />• Solid experience in project management across departments and geographies<br />• Experience managing suppliers and improving processes<br />• Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing<br />• Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication<br />• Strong analytical skills (incl.
