Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be working with the team that partners with Sales and other customer-facing teams, driving revenue performance, margin improvement and cost management initiatives. This is a fast-paced, highly commercial environment where you'll work side-by-side with leaders across the business, providing real-time insights that drive performance and influence strategy.</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Business Partnering:</b><span> </span>Build strong relationships with the senior leaders across the organisation to support cost control, strategic planning, and business performance.</p></li><li><p><b>Financial Planning & Analysis:</b><span> </span>Lead key elements of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple operational franchises.</p></li><li><p><b>P&L Control & Insight:</b><span> </span>Take ownership of P&L management, using data-driven analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.</p></li><li><p><b>Decision Support:</b><span> </span>Deliver insightful, ad hoc analysis that informs operational decision-making and contributes to business growth.</p></li><li><p><b>Performance Reporting:</b><span> </span>Provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.</p></li><li><p><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</b><span> </span>Foster a collaborative approach between Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For:</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong analytical mindset with a passion for turning data into meaningful and commercial insights.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business partnering - ideally in a commercially focused team</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and drive improvements.</p></li><li><p>Ideally part-qualified or qualified in a finance/accounting discipline (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for:</b></p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a finance-related role post-degree, ideally in FMCG or a fast-moving commercial environment</p></li><li><p>Progress toward, or completion of, your<span> </span><b>CA or CPA</b></p></li><li><p>Strong Excel skills and a desire to innovate through tools like Power BI</p></li><li><p>Proven business partnering mindset with a focus on adding value beyond the numbers</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with JDE, BI, or similar financial/reporting systems</p></li><li><p>A proactive, collaborative approach and the ambition to grow</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Join one of<span> </span><b>Australia’s Best Places to Work</b>, a market-leading, rapidly growing organisation where finance is at the heart of commercial strategy.
