Finance Graduate

We design and deliver solutions that enable scientists to accelerate innovation and improve health outcomes. We are seeking a Finance Graduate to join our corporate finance team. This role provides exposure to financial planning, reporting, controlling activities, and evaluation of investment decisions. Graduates will interact closely with colleagues across Lonza’s global organization to address business challenges and opportunities, supported by a bespoke personal development plan and dedicated mentorship program.

Job Summary

The Finance Graduate program offers a 24‑month rotation across four different roles within Lonza’s Finance department, spanning local and global functions. This rotational program requires geographical mobility and provides a comprehensive learning experience, equipping graduates with the skills to contribute to Lonza’s financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and support for financial reports and business plans.
• Assist in presenting financial performance, forecasts, and budget variances, including identifying opportunities and risks.
• Support analysis of financial information to detect errors and trends.
• Contribute to projects and cost center controlling.
• Assist with procurement processes such as requisitions and purchase orders.
• Understand business cost drivers and provide insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Support year‑end and internal audits.
• Contribute to broader FP&A projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of SAR consolidation (Sales, Marketing, Admin, R&D).

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Strong academic background with interest in corporate finance.
• Prior internship or experience in finance is an advantage.
