Join Roche, where every voice matters.</span></p><h3></h3><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h3>The Position</h3><p></p><p></p><p><span><span>Are you seeking an exciting challenge in a critical support role that directly contributes to the vital NHS Pathology services, where your work truly matters and makes a meaningful impact?</span></span></p><p></p><p><span><span>Does the prospect of a rewarding career with a progressive, high-tech organisation inspire you?</span></span></p><p></p><p></p><h2><b>Key Information</b></h2><ul><li><p><span>Supporting Southern Counties Pathology Network (South 6), covering 7 hospitals across Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ideal for experienced field engineers, with strong diagnostic service/support background</span></p></li><li><p><span>Primary focus support for electro-mechanical hardware, including routine proactive and reactive maintenance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Additional responsibilities in applications support, IT support, and customer training</span></p></li><li><p><span>Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Hampshire/Dorset area</span></p></li></ul><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>About the Role</b></h2><p></p><p>Roche Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Field Service Representative in the South region (Hampshire/Dorset area) directly supporting customers in NHS pathology laboratories.</p><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li><p><span>Provide frontline support across various Roche product portfolio at customer sites.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Troubleshoot and taking ownership of technical faults</span></p></li><li><p><span>Minimise unplanned downtime of laboratory equipment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use of digital tools for proactive preventative measures</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct training for laboratory staff</span></p></li></ul><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>Required Qualifications and Skills</b></h2><ul><li><p><span>Degree, HNC/HND level in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or </span><span><span>with equivalent demonstrable experience - you will bring a current and comprehensive understanding of the IVD industry, paired with strong experience in delivering world-class support.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>E</span>xcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication and teamwork abilities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Resilient and tenacious, able to thrive under pressure</span></p></li><li><p><span>Growth mindset</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span><span>For this position, the location is in the Hampshire/Dorset area. </span></span></p><p></p><p><span><span>You will be expected to collaborate with the wider team and all other areas of Roche to provide best-in-class service to our customers.
