Role summary:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to critical diagnostic innovation. As a Field Service Engineer III, you will provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for our Phadia ImmunoDiagnostics systems, supporting laboratories in delivering high-quality allergy and autoimmune testing. The role combines hands-on engineering, technical problem-solving, customer interaction and independent working, backed by the support and expertise of the wider UK Field Service organization.
Our Phadia systems are in vitro diagnostic (IVD) platforms used in clinical laboratories for allergy and autoimmune testing, incorporating our ImmunoCAP and EliA technologies. The UK Field Service team supports the Phadia instrument family, including the Phadia 200, Phadia 250, Phadia 1000 and Phadia 2500 platforms.
Through ongoing technical training and practical experience, you will develop your knowledge of our Phadia 200, 250, 1000 and 2500 systems, with the expectation that you will become comfortable supporting the wider Phadia instrument family.
Territory:
This is a field-based role supporting customers across London and the surrounding area. We are looking for someone based within Greater London or the Home Counties, or in a suitable location that provides effective access to our London customer base. Please note that a relocation package is not provided.
Responsibilities:
Training will be provided based on business requirements and your previous experience. As your knowledge and experience develop, you will be expected to become competent in supporting the wider Phadia instrument family, providing opportunities to continuously develop your technical knowledge and capabilities.
