At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll do meaningful work that helps our customers make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Our electron microscopy technologies support customers working at the forefront of scientific research, materials analysis and semiconductor innovation.
As a Field Service Engineer II, you will support sophisticated Dualbeam electron microscopy systems used by customers for high-resolution imaging, materials analysis and advanced semiconductor applications. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex instruments while serving as a trusted technical partner to customers.
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, working independently and supporting highly advanced equipment in customer environments. A significant portion of the work may take place in semiconductor fabrication facilities and cleanroom environments.
Our customers rely on advanced electron microscopy systems to perform critical research, materials characterization and semiconductor analysis. When these systems are unavailable, important customer work can be delayed.
