You’ll be the face of Thermo Fisher Scientific—delivering exceptional technical service while building trusted relationships with customers who are driving innovation.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of sophisticated analytical instruments (e.g., electron microscopes, chromatography systems)</li><li>Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with precision and efficiency</li><li>Provide on-site and remote support to ensure optimal system performance</li><li>Build strong customer partnerships through professional, responsive service</li><li>Contribute to customer success by minimizing downtime and enabling breakthrough discoveries</li></ul><h3></h3><h1><u><b>What you bring</b></u></h1><p></p><p>We’re looking for someone who is curious, hands-on, and motivated to solve complex problems while delivering a great customer experience.</p><p></p><p><b>Minimum qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (no prior experience required)</li><li>Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot at the component level</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to urgent service needs</li><li>Ability to obtain credentials required to access customer facilities</li></ul><p><b>Preferred qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical) or related scientific field</li><li>Experience installing, maintaining, or repairing analytical or laboratory instruments</li><li>Familiarity with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment</li><li>Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, and service management tools</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation</li></ul><p><b>Key skills and attributes:</b></p><ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Organized with strong time management abilities</li><li>Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently</li><li>Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why join us?</b></p><ul><li>Be part of a mission-driven organization making real-world impact</li><li>Work with cutting-edge technology at the forefront of science</li><li>Grow your career through continuous learning and development opportunities</li><li>Collaborate with a diverse, global team of experts</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
