<h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>The LCMSD Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering world-class on-site support to Agilent customers by performing installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of LC/MS and related systems. The role ensures optimal instrument performance, drives customer satisfaction, and contributes to continuous improvement in service delivery.</p><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Perform <b>installation, configuration, and optimization</b> of Agilent LC/MS systems and related software/network solutions at customer sites.</li><li>Provide <b>preventive and corrective maintenance</b> to ensure instruments operate within specifications and customer expectations.</li><li><b>Diagnose and resolve</b> complex hardware, software, and application performance issues on LC/MSD instruments.</li><li><b>Deliver application support</b> and advise customers on proper system configuration, usage, and preventive care to enhance uptime and performance.</li><li><b>Collaborate cross-functionally</b> with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and technical team to ensure seamless customer experience and timely resolution of escalations.</li><li>Act as a <b>technical resource</b> for the field team—providing mentorship, training, and guidance on LCMS technology and service practices.</li><li>Conduct <b>internal and external technical training sessions</b> or seminars for engineers and customers as required.</li><li>Maintain <b>accurate service records</b>, documentation, and reporting in compliance with Agilent’s service processes.</li><li>Proactively identify potential equipment or software issues to <b>prevent unplanned interruptions</b> to customer operations.</li><li>Support the <b>qualification and calibration</b> of instruments for large-scale customer sites and regulated environments.</li><li>Participate in <b>Agilent-approved credentialing and compliance processes</b> required to access and service customer facilities.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in <b>Electronics, Instrumentation, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.</b></li><li>6&#43; years of experience working on <b>LC/MS system</b>; exposure to regulated (pharma/biopharma/Method development, troubleshooting) environments preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of <b>chromatography and mass spectrometry principles</b> and associated software tools.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a <b>customer-first mindset.</b></li><li>Ability to manage multiple service calls independently and work effectively in field conditions.</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.</li><li>Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Additional Details</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>This job has a full time weekly schedule.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
