Working closely with the central dispatch team as well as sales/clinical colleagues, the<span> </span><span>Field Service</span><span> </span><span>Engineer</span><span> </span>will be responsible for driving<span> </span><span>customer satisfaction</span><span> </span>through service excellence.</p><p></p><p>This will be a full-time, field-based role requiring regular travelling across assigned territory (Poland &#43; occasional support to Northern Europe).</p><p></p><p><u><b>What You&#39;ll do:</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Hardware/software field support: includes site inspection and site preparation, system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades,<span> </span><span>troubleshooting</span><span> </span>and<span> </span><span>repair</span>, also includes demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses.</p></li><li><p>Document<span> </span><span>field service</span><span> </span>interventions per<span> </span><span>QA system</span><span> </span>requirements.</p></li><li><p>Report<span> </span><span>capital equipment</span><span> </span>incidents per<span> </span><span>QA system</span><span> </span>requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide support and technical assistance for in-house<span> </span><span>training</span><span> </span>courses and congresses.</p></li><li><p>Provide system maintenance and<span> </span><span>troubleshooting</span><span> </span><span>training</span><span> </span>to customer<span> </span><span>biomedical engineering</span><span> </span>departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff.</p></li><li><p>Extensive national and international travel required based as per business need.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Required qualifications &amp; background:</b></u></p><ul><li><p>A Bachelors degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but relevant experience considered.</p></li><li><p>Prior experience in<span> </span><span>medical electronics</span><span> </span>service or related<span> </span><span>field service</span><span> </span>is required (medical devices/software based medical systems would be advantageous).</p></li><li><p>Strong electronic and<span> </span><span>mechanical engineering</span><span> </span>skills including<span> </span><span>troubleshooting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Computer</span><span> </span>skills:<span> </span><span>MS</span><span> </span>Office, Linux.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity <span>with Cathlab/operating</span> room procedures/protocols would be advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to be<span> </span><span>flexible</span>, respond at short notice to<span> </span><span>scheduling</span><span> </span>requirements, work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Fluent English and Polish (both written and spoken).</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel (up to 80% of time).</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
