Find what drives you on a team with a more than 75-year history of discovery, determination, and innovation.</p><p></p><p>Learn about the <a href="https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system" target="_blank">Danaher Business System</a> which makes everything possible.</p><p>We are looking for a seasoned <b>Facility and Maintenance Manager</b> to lead infrastructure, equipment maintenance, and facility at our new greenfield manufacturing site in Pune, spanning 139,000 sq. feet and supporting approximately 300 associates.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in filtration technology line maintenance, facility operations, statutory compliance, and government liaison.</p><p>Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in establishing greenfield projects while ensuring full compliance with legal, statutory, and EHS requirements.</p><p>This role demands strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage a cross-functional team comprising Maintenance, Facility Administration.</p><p>It is pivotal in ensuring operational readiness, regulatory adherence, and a safe, sustainable working environment.</p><p>The position is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and will be based on-site in Pune, reporting directly to the Director – Operations.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Lead end‑to‑end maintenance operations for all production equipment, utilities, and critical filtration technology systems, ensuring high equipment availability and minimal downtime.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Own equipment lifecycle management—installation, commissioning, qualification, upgrades, and decommissioning.</span></p></li><li><p></p></li></ul><p><b>Facility Management</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Oversee all facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution systems, water treatment plants, fire‑hydrant systems, compressed air, and building services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure uninterrupted operation of support facilities such as security, canteen, housekeeping, landscaping, waste management, and emergency systems.</span></p></li><li><p>Work closely with EHS Manager to drive EHS in the plant for Facility &amp; Maintenance topics</p></li><li><p>Support to Ensure environmental compliance for waste handling, emissions, effluent, and sustainability initiatives.</p></li><li><p><span>DBS Culture Deployment in Collaboration with the site DBSL</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial)</p></li><li><p><span>14–20 years of proven experience in maintenance and facility management within a manufacturing plant environment; experience managing high‑volume operations of 300&#43; associates preferred.</span></p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on expertise in maintenance of filtration systems, automation equipment, utilities, and plant machinery.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in large manufacturing site management, statutory compliance, and government liaison.</p></li><li><p>Experience in greenfield site development, commissioning, and Ramp‑Up is highly preferred will be preference.</p></li><li><p>Strong background in equipment reliability, TPM, RCM, and energy management.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience of multi‑disciplinary teams (maintenance, utilities, facility, projects) will be preferred.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, Kaizen culture, and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p><b>Travel, Motor Vehicle Record &amp; Physical Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>This role requires occasional international travel (approx. 30%) for operational alignment, DBS learning, and visits to other global sites.</p></li><li><p>A valid U.S. visa is preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
