Lead a team responsible for critical facility systems including HVAC, utilities, equipment maintenance, and building infrastructure. Implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining GMP standards and supporting manufacturing operations. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure reliable facility operations and minimal disruption to production activities.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Oversee facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and operational excellence</li><li>Lead a team responsible for critical facility systems including HVAC, utilities, equipment maintenance, and building infrastructure</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining GMP standards and supporting manufacturing operations</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure reliable facility operations and minimal disruption to production activities</li><li>Support hazardous material inventory control, waste handling, and disposal processes in accordance with regulatory and company standards</li><li>Support emergency response efforts related to chemical spills, exposures, or releases</li><li>Ensure staff are trained in hazard communication (HazCom), personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe handling procedures</li><li>Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs using CMMS</li><li>Ensure timely completion of work orders and minimize equipment downtime</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support facility-related projects and system upgrades</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, EHS, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and external contractors</li><li>Ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and audit readiness</li><li>Support inspections, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies</li></ul><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2><ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Supervisor</li><li>High School Diploma</li></ul><h2>Qualifications & Skills</h2><ul><li>Certifications in facilities systems, safety procedures, or trade specializations preferred</li><li>Preferred fields of study: Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field</li><li>Experience leading and developing maintenance teams of 10+</li><li>Proficiency in building management systems (BMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems including HVAC and water systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of water purification systems and wastewater systems</li><li>Experience with regulatory compliance and quality systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Emergency response capabilities and availability for on-call rotation</li><li>Effective communication and team leadership skills</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and facility management software</li><li>Experience managing contractor relationships and service agreements</li><li>Safety program implementation and compliance knowledge</li><li>Ability to be on-call and work various shifts including nights/weekends as needed</li><li>Physical ability to perform inspections and respond to facility issues</li><li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities as needed</li></ul>Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $83,300.00–$110,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
