This is a fully onsite role based at our 8551 Research Way Suite 90 location in Middleton, WI.   We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position, and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.  

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. 

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

Discover Impactful Work:

Provides team support through the coordination and performance of diverse activities related to laboratory and facility services, shipping and receiving supply chain functions, building and equipment maintenance, and project development.

A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for multiple operating services including employee moves, shipping and receiving, badge access security, building and equipment maintenance and repair, janitorial services, laboratory support services and transportation services for assigned function.

• Responsible for the day-to-day activities of specified area.

• Coordinates activities of non-staff vendors, including subcontractors, landlords, shipping and receiving carriers, and mail services.

• Performs inspections of work to ensure timeliness, compliance with requirements and scope, and acceptable workmanship.

• Recommends and implements procedures to improve service delivery.

• Informs personnel regarding procedures or status of work requests for the purpose of making decisions, taking appropriate actions, and or complying with building and safety regulations.

• Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment requires to meet unique operating and business requirements.

• Responds to facility-related emergencies, as assigned.

• Generates purchase requisitions and maintains records of expenditures.

• Coordinates documentation to comply with Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and Change Control processes.

• Participates in meetings, workshops, training, seminars as assigned for the purpose of conveying or gathering information.

• Attends team meetings and participates in Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

creation and evaluation.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job

(comparable to 2+ years).

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Basic understanding of building systems (mechanical, electrical, security, etc.)

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and/or light general construction may be required

• Ability to effectively interact with outside vendors and internal customers

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

• Comfort with ambiguity and effectiveness during periods of uncertainty and change

• May require knowledge and understanding of computerized maintenance and work order systems

• May require a strong understanding of security systems
