Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Facilities Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Facilities Engineer role is responsible for applies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.
What a typical day looks like:
• Plan and oversee civil construction projects, including structural work, finishes, and general building installations.
• Develop, review, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction activities.
• Manage civil works projects, including coordination of construction activities and control of legal and technical documentation.
• Review quantity take-offs, progress measurements, and contractor payment estimates.
• Prepare construction progress reports and provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Develop and maintain bills of quantities (BOQs) and construction scope catalogs.
• Review, analyze, and validate construction budgets, cost estimates, and project expenditures.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, processes, materials, and industry best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, regulations, and construction requirements.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
• • Degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on civil works) or Architecture.
• • Generally, a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience is required.
• Review of architectural, civil, topographical, and electromechanical project drawings.
• AutoCAD, 2D 3D. Microsoft Office Knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Project
