If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b>Facilities Engineer </b>located in Guadalajara, <b>North Campus.</b></p><p>Reporting to the <b>Facilities Manager </b>the<b> Facilities Engineer </b>is responsible for researching, designing, and supporting the implementation of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure that meet operational, safety, and technical standards. This role evaluates feasibility, proposes improvements, supervises on-site activities, and ensures alignment between client requirements, suppliers, and internal facilities teams. The position has no direct reports and requires strong communication, technical expertise, and project management skills.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Researches facility products, equipment specifications, and performance requirements to define designs compatible with existing manufacturing or processing capabilities.</li><li>Researches engineering proposals, process requirements, and technical data related to machinery, systems, and industrial facility equipment.</li><li>Defines feasibility for new equipment or facility modifications considering cost, space, time constraints, corporate planning, and technical factors.</li><li>Provides technical guidance on manufacturing/processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages or limitations that impact long-term plant engineering strategies.</li><li>Compiles and analyzes research data to establish performance standards for new or modified equipment.</li><li>Studies engineering and technical publications to stay current with industry changes and technological developments.</li><li>Uses computer‑assisted engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks and validate engineering documentation.</li><li>Provides project management and administrative control of projects (PM).</li><li>Participates in client calls to review scope, identify gaps, align requirements, and coordinate activities across different plant locations (north, south, technology areas, etc.).</li><li>Supports general facilities operations including electromechanical systems, fire protection systems, electrical distribution, HVAC systems, civil works, and infrastructure upgrades.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>BA/BS as a civil engineer, or similar.</li><li>Knowledge in Electromechanical systems, Fire protection systems, Electrical systems, General facilities operations.</li><li>Project administration experience.</li><li>Knowledge in AutoCAD – reviewing and validating engineering information</li><li>Experience supervising construction projects.</li><li>Intermediate English skills.</li><li>Experience with corrective and preventive actions & risk management.</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills.</li><li>Availability to attend all the different Flex Jalisco locations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: </b></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary.</li><li>Life & Medical insurance.</li><li>Christmas Bonus.</li><li>Food Coupons.</li><li>Saving Fund.</li><li>Life Insurance.</li></ul><p></p><p>KJ12</p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
