If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an <b>Equipment Maintenance Engineer </b>located in Guadalajara, <b>North Campus.</b></p><p>Reporting to the <b>Equipment Maintenance Manager, </b>the<b> Equipment Maintenance Engineer </b>is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment, with a focus on presses, bending machines, punch presses, and MADA equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability, optimal performance, and compliance with preventive maintenance plans. The engineer will lead a small team, perform installations, calibrations, corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and safety.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates failure mechanisms.</li><li>Repairs failure mechanisms in the most cost‑effective and efficient manner.</li><li>Disassembles instruments and equipment to inspect components for defects.</li><li>Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts, assemblies, and circuitry.</li><li>Provides daily updates on equipment functioning and performance issues.</li><li>Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.</li><li>Performs calibrations and re‑qualifications on equipment (electrical, electronic, pneumatic).</li><li>Sets up standard and special‑purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments and test equipment.</li><li>Maintains precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments.</li><li>Assists technicians and process engineers with the installation, adjustment, and removal of process equipment.</li><li>Leads equipment start‑up, testing, and commissioning (especially bending machines, punch presses, presses, and MADA systems).</li><li>Ensures equipment is set to proper specifications and operational standards.</li><li>Records times, maintenance activities, and problems in equipment logs.</li><li>Researches, implements, and documents corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.</li><li>Supports audits and internal reviews related to equipment performance and maintenance.</li><li>Assigns tasks, trains personnel, and verifies proper execution of maintenance procedures.</li><li>Promotes safety, discipline, and adherence to technical standards.</li><li>May require occasional travel to other company sites or vendor facilities for training, equipment support, or commissioning.</li><li>Identifies opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>BA/BS in engineer or similar.</li><li>Sr experience in as an operations manager, supervisor or similar.</li><li>Advanced English (technical communication required).</li><li>Strong knowledge of electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Experience in equipment installation, set‑up/commissioning, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with presses, bending machines, punch presses, and MADA equipment.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.</li><li>Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.</li><li>Experience managing technical personnel.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.</li><li>Available to travel ( 10% per year),</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: </b></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Life & Medical insurance</li><li>Christmas Bonus</li><li>Food Coupons</li><li>Saving Fund.</li><li>Life Insurance</li></ul><p></p><p>KJ12</p><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
