Working closely with the leadership team and the Atec operation team, the Operation director is handling the following activities:</p><p></p><ul><li>Ensures the translation of commercial forecasts into manufacturing plans for the various products.</li><li>Participates in the definition of the production strategy , and ensures the management of our supplies and industrial stocks. </li><li>Manages the team responsible for purchasing all items for the production process</li><li>Assists in negotiation and vendor management for all purchased components. </li><li> Leads cost of goods sold effort to maintain competitive costs contributing to profitability goals. </li><li>Communicates any vendor issues that might cause delays in production plan and impact on sales to cross functional partners</li><li>Leads the S&OP process for EOS and closely partners with all stakeholders to ensure support from the Operations team </li><li>Defines the means of production adapted to the objectives and conducts their implementation and maintenance. </li><li>Organizes the logistics of parts required for production such as finished products and spare parts. Conducts production and testing of in-house manufactured sub-assemblies, such as X-ray detectors. </li><li>Pilots our industrial partner to ensure the manufacture and delivery of products to our customers in accordance with the commitments made. </li><li>Sets up, controls and carries out recipe tests of the systems at our partner. </li><li>Ensures the mastery of production documentation to comply with the regulations of medical devices. </li><li>Ensures the quality and traceability of our products by continuously developing and improving production processes. </li><li>Conducts internal and external productivity actions to achieve industrial cost targets.</li><li>Drives risk mitigation planning and projects </li><li>Leads industrial aspects in new product development programs. </li><li>Monitors performance indicators related to product manufacturing and conducts corrective and preventive actions; participates in the continuous improvement of products. </li><li>Follows EOS imaging's procedures and instructions and proposes improvements that can bring efficiency and quality. </li><li>Keeps up to date on new developments and trends to understand customer and market needs for assigned products.<br> <br> <br> <br> </li></ul>
<p> <strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES <br></strong></p><ul><li>Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to effectively utilize internal resources to meet project deadlines and objectives.</li><li>Excellent project management and Production planning capabilites</li><li>People management demonstrated skills and experience</li><li>Vendor management and negotiation skills</li><li>Logistics management and freight experience</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>High level of motivation with the ability to operate as an individual and team leader.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).</li><li>Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.<br></li></ul><p></p><p><strong><br> REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE<br></strong></p><ul><li>Education : Master’s in Engineering or Production </li></ul><ul><li>Language: French & English</li><li>10+ years of successful experience in HLB production of complex equipment, if possible, in the medical device field</li><li>Demonstrated success working as an integral cross-functional team member</li><li>Tangible experience of routinely working with external industrial partners </li></ul>
