Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Benelux

We are looking for an EHS Coordinator Benelux to lead and coordinate Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across our commercial entities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

In this role, you will act as the regional EHS expert, ensuring compliance, supporting field and office-based teams, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and Abbott standards across Belgium and the Netherlands

• Coordinate and implement EHS programs across multiple entities

• Lead occupational health, ergonomics, and emergency preparedness initiatives

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to commercial and field activities

• Support teams on safety topics including radiation, biohazards, and PPE

• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions

• Manage EHS reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking

• Act as the main EHS point of contact, driving alignment with leadership and external stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Certification as Prevention Advisor (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety

• Experience in a multi-site or regional environment

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
