A Day in the Life

At Medtronic Neuroscience, we are redefining what's possible in neurological and spinal care, bringing together innovation, expertise, and partnership to improve lives around the world.

This role supports the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health (NMPH) Manufacturing Engineering organization, with a focus on Joining Technologies and Pilot Process Development. The team develops and scales manufacturing processes used to support next-generation implantable medical devices, partnering across engineering, design, manufacturing, and process development functions to advance products from feasibility through manufacturing transfer. The position provides broad technical support across multiple manufacturing technologies, equipment platforms, and process-development laboratories rather than specializing in a single process area.

This is an onsite position based in Fridley, MN. Travel up to 25% is expected, including periodic travel to manufacturing partners and transfer locations in support of manufacturing process transfer activities.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$82,400.00 - $123,600.00

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
