Our aim is to eliminate barriers in the patient journey, accelerate recovery, delight customers, and reduce cost of care.</p></div><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mendaera is looking for an Engineering Technician to help build hardware to enable robotic medical interventions based on real-time multimodal imaging and sensor information.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will work with Mendaera's engineering team to build prototypes and test fixtures, process components, and run tests. You will be responsible for constructing, calibrating, and testing prototypes. Further, you enjoy building physical hardware, solving problems, and learning new skills.</span></p> <p><strong><em>Engineering Technician responsibilities include:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assemble detailed mechanical and electrical prototypes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct debugging and basic troubleshooting of prototypes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct testing and documentation of test results</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perform calibration steps on prototypes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Process 3D Printed components</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Solder components into prototypes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain consumable stock in engineering lab</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Desired skills:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years of industry experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hands-on technician with the proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Detail-oriented and able to accurately assemble small components</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency with computers; comfort with limited command line operations preferred</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with soldering small components</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Previous experience in the medical device space is a plus</span></li> </ul>
