If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Summary</h2><ul><li><p>Engineering Technician -4 role at Flex involves performing hands-on debugging, validation, and system-level failure analysis of next-generation server and rack systems within a high-mix, high-ambiguity manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>This position requires advanced technical skills and the ability to provide guidance and training to other technical personnel</p></li><li><p>The technician will collaborate with engineering teams, contribute to documentation, and monitor equipment productivity while adhering to safety guidelines</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level</p></li><li><p>Installing and configuring infrastructure including servers, racks, switches and other hardware including liquid cooling, power</p></li><li><p>Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates</p></li><li><p>Presents training, when necessary, to the new build and service assembler teams</p></li><li><p>Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents</p></li><li><p>Helps monitor productivity of our equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates</p></li><li><p>Assists with the installation, debug and validation of Test equipment</p></li><li><p>Follows all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor</p></li><li><p>Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA</p></li><li><p>Provides training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>SPECIALIZED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES </b>may be required for certain positions.
