If you are excited about a role but don&#39;t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an <b><span>Engineer - Machine Programming in Chennai</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li>Initiate &amp; implement actions for continuous monitoring and improvement of SMT process in accordance with customer requirements, technical specifications of equipment and internal procedures;</li><li>Provide testing and inspection activities, reports to customers.</li><li>Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications.</li><li>Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.</li><li>Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency with Component placements and machine optimization</li><li>Determines quality/testing methods/procedures on new assignments. Decisions may affect department/function.</li><li>May conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of advanced technologies as well as functional techniques and improves processes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</span></b></p><ul><li>Diploma / bachelor’s degree – ECE / EEE / Mechanical with  4 – 7 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably in EMS Industry.</li><li>Knowledge in SMT Process, PCBA, Mechanical assembly, Manufacturing tools and fixture design etc.,</li><li>Skilled in Fixture Tools design software like SolidWorks, Auto CAD, Creo etc.</li><li>Should have very good knowledge in Manufacturing tool designing process.</li><li>Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.</li><li>Experience in cutting wires to the desired length, stripping insulation, Crimping terminals onto the stripped ends of wires, soldering, gluing and marking wires for identification.</li><li>Experience in various tools and machines, including wire measuring and cutting machines, crimping tools, and testing equipment.</li><li>Knowledge &amp; direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.</li><li>Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.</li><li>Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.</li><li>Good analytical skills.</li><li>Coaching &amp; mentoring skills.</li><li>Should be open for shifts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:</span></b></p><ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>PTO</li></ul><p>#SA02</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p>Flex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
