This role is suited for a professional with strong expertise in product design, qualification, and cost optimization.</p><p>The successful candidate will drive Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, contribute to product standardization, and deliver cost reduction opportunities while maintaining product quality and performance.</p><ul><li><p>Lead the design, development, and qualification of mechanical and electromechanical products manufactured across global sites</p></li><li><p>Drive product cost analysis, teardown benchmarking, and Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives independently</p></li><li><p>Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance</p></li><li><p>Conduct cost-benefit analyses and deliver measurable annualized savings for assigned projects</p></li><li><p>Apply strong design knowledge with exposure to global qualification and engineering standards</p></li><li><p>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at or below target cost through effective planning (quality, cost, schedule, and risk)</p></li><li><p>Utilize structured problem-solving approaches to analyze issues and implement effective solutions</p></li><li><p>Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&D teams, as well as external suppliers and partners</p></li><li><p>Contribute to building team capability by sharing technical knowledge and supporting skill development across product lines</p></li><li><p>Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the team</p></li></ul><h1><span><b>Skills & Proficiencies</b></span></h1><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field</p></li><li><p>6-8+ years of experience, with a strong track record in CAD, product design, qualification, and VAVE/cost optimization initiatives is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience in product cost analysis, teardown, competitive benchmarking, and engineering optimization techniques</p></li><li><p>Proven experience managing end-to-end VAVE projects (from scoping through implementation)</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of regulatory requirements, certifications, and global engineering standards</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams</p></li></ul><h1><span><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></span></h1><ul><li><p>Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and CAD tools such as UG/NX, along with working knowledge of simulation tools like Ansys</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
