Since 1989, our commitment to engineering excellence, superior quality, and customer-focused support drives us to innovate and continuously improve the most reliable automated solutions available.Position Details Job Overview Complete electronic designs for tool changer control modules and force torque sensors, involving embedded systems, fieldbus interfaces, low noise strain gage amplifiers, A/D and D/A converters and DCDC converters. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement ECOs for electronic assemblies and PCBs</li><li>Prepare PCB documentation packages for release</li><li>Altium schematics entry, PCB layout and component selection</li><li>Address manufacturing questions and requests (component replacements, documentation issues, etc.)</li><li>Investigate and resolve technical problems involving product performance</li><li>Work with component suppliers, manufacturers, outside labs and other service providers as needed to ensure the most cost effective, robust designs are implemented.</li><li>Support and troubleshoot current electronic designs.</li><li>Develop improvements in current electronics.</li><li>Write manufacturing and inspection instructions, specification sheets and technical reports for new and existing products.</li><li>Write product requirements specifications</li><li>Support the assembly of prototypes by providing documentation and assistance to ensure high quality prototypes are built in a timely manner.</li><li>Develop and execute hardware engineering design test plans per requirements specifications to ensure prototypes meet design requirements.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and DFMEAs.</li><li>Continue to learn new skills and techniques through in-house training, outside training/coursework, seminars, trade shows and appropriate use of the internet and participate in the training of other members of the engineering team in these skills</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Job Requirements:<ul><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.</li></ul><ul><li>Must have demonstrated proficiency in schematic entry using Altium Designer or a similar tool</li><li>Should be familiar with</li></ul>- analog components and circuits, required for the precision measurement of low voltages- Embedded systems hardware- Embedded firmware using C/C++- Linear regulators and DC/DC power converters- Serial bus networks (CAN, RS485, Ethernet)- Experience with PCB layout design- Experience /Skills with Python or a similar programming language would be a plus Education Requirements:· A Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent Salary Information· The salary for this role will range from $69,825 to $111,720 annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc. · Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives.
