Since 1989, our commitment to engineering excellence, superior quality, and customer-focused support drives us to innovate and continuously improve the most reliable automated solutions available.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">Position Details</span></p><p> </p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px">Job Overview<br /></span></b><span style="font-size:14px">Complete electronic designs for tool changer control modules and force torque sensors, involving embedded systems, fieldbus interfaces, low noise strain gage amplifiers, A/D and D/A converters and DCDC converters.</span></p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px"> </span></b></p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px">Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Implement ECOs for electronic assemblies and PCBs</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Prepare PCB documentation packages for release</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Altium schematics entry, PCB layout and  component selection</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Address manufacturing questions and requests (component replacements, documentation issues, etc.)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Investigate and resolve technical problems involving product performance</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Work with component suppliers, manufacturers, outside labs and other service providers as needed to ensure the most cost effective, robust designs are implemented.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Support and troubleshoot current electronic designs.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Develop improvements in current electronics.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Write manufacturing and inspection instructions, specification sheets and technical reports for new and existing products.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#333333"><span style="font-size:14px">Write product requirements specifications</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#333333"><span style="font-size:14px">Support the assembly of prototypes by providing documentation and assistance to ensure high quality prototypes are built in a timely manner.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#333333"><span style="font-size:14px">Develop and execute hardware engineering design test plans per requirements specifications to ensure prototypes meet design requirements.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Conduct design reviews and DFMEAs.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Continue to learn new skills and techniques through in-house training, outside training/coursework, seminars, trade shows and appropriate use of the internet and participate in the training of other members of the engineering team in these skills</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Other duties as assigned.</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px"> </span></p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px">Job Requirements:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Must have demonstrated proficiency in schematic entry using Altium Designer or a similar tool</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-size:14px">Should be familiar with</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px">- analog components and circuits, required for the precision measurement of low voltages</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Embedded systems hardware</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Embedded firmware using C/C&#43;&#43;</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Linear regulators and DC/DC power converters</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Serial bus networks (CAN, RS485, Ethernet)</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Experience with PCB layout design</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">- Experience </span><b><span style="font-size:14px">/Skills </span></b><span style="font-size:14px">with Python or a similar programming language would be a plus</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px"> </span></p><p><b><span style="font-size:14px">Education Requirements:</span></b></p><p><span style="font-size:14px">·</span><span style="font-size:14px">         </span><span style="font-size:14px">A Bachelor&#39;s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px"> </span></p><p><b>Salary Information</b></p><p>·<span style="font-size:14px">         </span>The salary for this role will range from $69,825 to $111,720 annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc. </p><p>·<span style="font-size:14px">         </span>Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives.
