Key Responsibilities :
Electro‑Mechanical Design
1. Design and develop electro‑mechanical components involving mechanical structures, low & high voltage critical components and vacuum compatible parts
2. Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings using GD&T, BOMs in SAP etc.
3. Ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components
4. Review designs and drawings prepared by team members
5. Contribute to design best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
Product Development & Engineering
6. Translate product requirements, specifications, and customer needs into practical design solutions
7. Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and component selection
8. Develop fixtures & test setups for assembly of components for in-house manufacturing.
9. Support prototype builds, testing, debugging, and V&V activities
10. Lead design reviews and implement design improvements based on feedback and test results
Compliance & Quality
11. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations (IEC606061, ISO13485, ISO14791, UL, CE, and other country specific regulations for medical devices)
12. Follow DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and reliability best practices with proven skill set for process driven approach & GDP.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
13. Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, supplier quality, and internal inspection teams to qualify components E2E from supply chain establishment till validation.
14. Support supplier technical discussions and component evaluations while working closely with the procurement team
15. Assist production teams in resolving design‑related issues during manufacturing and assembly
