If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<h2></h2><h2>Job Summary</h2>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an EH&S Manager located in US South Carolina Columbia.Reporting to the Director, EH&S the EH&S Manager will be In charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites in order to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.What a typical day looks like:<ul><li>Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.</li><li>Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training and awareness programs.</li><li>Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.</li><li>Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).</li><li>Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.</li><li>Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.</li><li>Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment and materials.</li><li>Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures.</li><li>We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and hands-on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all EHS Management Systems at our facility. This role is critical to ensuring a safe, compliant, and a high-performance workplace. You will partner closely with Operations, Facilities, HR, and Corporate and peer EHS groups to drive a strong safety culture, reduce risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.</li></ul>The experience we’re looking to add to our team, <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environment or Health Sciences or equivalent experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.</li><li>+7 years of related experience in EH&S or related position.</li></ul>Safety Leadership and Compliance<ul><li>Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site EHS programs, including OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Hazard Communication, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Emergency Response, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Contractor safety.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, state AED requirements, etc.)</li><li>Maintains required documentation, permits, and records</li></ul>Training and Culture Building<ul><li>Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.</li><li>Facilitate EHS Committee meetings, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li>Promote a culture of accountability, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Incident Management<ul><li>Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.</li><li>Track and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.</li><li>Manage Workers' Compensation cases.</li></ul>Risk Reduction and Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.</li><li>Partner with operations to integrate safety into equipment design, process changes, and new projects.</li></ul>Environmental Compliance<ul><li>Oversee environmental programs, including waste management, air emissions, stormwater, and chemical storage.</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental permits and reporting requirements.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences:<ul><li>Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP)</li><li>Experience with ISO 14001/ISO 45001 systems</li></ul>PF38#LI-PF1What you'll receive for the great work you provide:<ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<h2></h2>Is Sponsorship Available?NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
