Relocation assistance is NOT provided. </p><p>*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.</p><p>*Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screen.</p><p></p><p><b>A Day in the Life:</b></p><ul><li>Oversee facility operations and maintenance activities with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and operational excellence.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining GMP standards and supporting manufacturing operations.</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure reliable facility operations and minimal disruption to production activities.</li><li>Provides technical EHS support for site objectives.</li><li>Lead the site&#39;s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and initiatives.</li><li>Actively participate in reviews for new projects/ processes and modifications to existing projects/processes, and recommend improvements.</li><li>Develops and implements EHS Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Develops and implements EHS Training to ensure employee awareness and proficiency.</li><li>Coordinate and perform risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and recommend controls for workplace safety and health hazards; assessments include personal protective equipment, ergonomics, noise, ventilation, heat stress, and indoor air quality. Facilitate site EH&amp;S audits (clients, state and federal regulatory agencies, insurance companies, etc.) and follow up on corrective actions.</li><li>Report EH&amp;S Metrics as required.</li><li>Work with Environmental to implement site environmental programs, regulatory reporting, and recordkeeping.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Keys to Success:</b></p><p><b>Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred.</li><li>5&#43; years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental, preferably in a GMP/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, required.</li><li>Additional certifications in facilities systems, safety procedures, or trade specializations are beneficial.</li><li>Proficiency in building management systems (BMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).</li><li>Experience with regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, cGMP) and quality systems.</li><li>Project management skills and budget oversight capabilities.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Emergency response capabilities and on-call rotation availability.</li><li>Effective communication and team leadership skills.</li><li>Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and facility management software.</li><li>Experience managing contractor relationships and service agreements.</li><li>Safety program implementation and compliance expertise.</li><li>Physical ability to perform inspections and respond to facility issues.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><p>We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
