<div class="content-intro"><p>At Keros, our mission is to deliver significant clinical benefit to a wide range of patients with disorders that are linked to dysfunctional signaling of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-ß) family of proteins. With a focus on developing differentiated product candidates that are designed to alter TGF-β signaling, we aim to target the pathways critical for the growth, repair and maintenance of blood cells and a number of tissues, including bone, skeletal muscle, adipose and heart tissue. We believe our product candidates have the potential to unlock the full therapeutic benefits of modulating the TGF-β superfamily and provide disease-modifying benefit to patients.</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>This role will be responsible for experiment execution in downstream biologics process development. This will include equipment setup, maintenance, processing, and data acquisition in a laboratory setting. Technical report authoring and lab notebook recordkeeping are also critical to this role. The successful candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, technical competence, and a willingness to learn.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong><strong><br></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Scale-down and range finding study execution.</li>
<li>Purification by FPLC of Pilot scale batches.</li>
<li>Implementation of multiple liquid chromatography types (i.e Affinity, Ion Exchange, HIC)</li>
<li>Buffer formulation, resin selection and capacity study execution.</li>
<li>Filter loading and fouling study execution.</li>
<li>Intermediate stability analysis.</li>
<li>Formulation and stability study support.</li>
<li>Protein characterization by A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE and cIEF.</li>
<li>Statistical data analysis.</li>
<li>Equipment setup, functional verification and maintenance.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology or related program.</li>
<li>Familiar with protein biochemistry</li>
<li>Familiar with general biology lab techniques</li>
<li>Familiar with statistical analysis and experimental design&nbsp;</li>
<li>Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills</li>
