These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented. § For those companies in the Medical Device Industry, the position may provide documentation such as good manufacturing practices (GMP), good laboratory practices (GLP), and good clinical practices (GCP) procedure manuals and change authorization in accordance with company policies and government regulations.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Description</h2><p>The Material Master Analyst is a key player in the Document <span>Control/Configuration</span> Management Team.  This position is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and management of material master data in SAP.  This role works under the direction of the global Regulatory Compliance Manager within the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Compliance Organization.</p><p></p><p><b><span>The primary responsibilities are:</span></b></p><ul><li>Create and maintain records contained in the SAP material master, bills of material (BOM), routers and part numbers to support new products, plant-to-plant product transfers, and changes to existing products</li><li>Manage assignments from the engineering change order (ECO) work flow in an efficient and on-time manner</li><li>Perform mass updates as required</li><li>Make and document changes in SAP and manage work flow for <span>inactive/obsolescence</span> of BOM and individual part numbers as products are discontinue or revised</li><li>Participation in projects and implementations across the business related to SAP material master data</li><li>Develop templates and product structures within SAP as needed to achieve harmonization across the company</li><li>Perform continuous audits of material master data to assure accuracy within SAP</li><li>Audit manufacturing functions to BOM to assure accuracy</li><li>Resolve and correct any issues using proper procedures identified by audits</li><li>Work with individuals and teams throughout the business to support SAP material master issues in an efficient and customer-service focused manner</li><li>Report on where-used, inventory storage locations, routers and unique part numbers to support SKU rationalization</li><li>Document work instructions for assigned responsibilities</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Additional responsibilities may include:</span></b></p><ul><li>Complete ECO and release products to the production floor</li><li>Cross-train and provide coverage for document control, other configuration management duties, and labels as required by the business</li><li>Identify, analyze and propose changes to the BOM creation process to improve efficiencies across the department</li><li>Learn and understand the global regulations that govern the product portfolio</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required </b></p><ul><li>3 &#43;years of relevant experience in Material Master</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree and SAP certification desired</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Time Type:</b></p>Full time<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Type:</b></p>Regular<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Work Shift:</b></p>N/A<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Pay Rate Type:</b></p>Salary<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><i><span class="emphasis-3">All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.</span></i></p>
