Docketing Specialist

The Docketing Specialist is responsible for providing IP docketing services for the Operating Companies across Danaher. The Docketing Clerk will be part of a centralized docketing team and will report directly to the Manager IP Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide docketing services across multiple jurisdictions to support the US and Non-US Patent life cycle.
• Update, and maintain docketing system as a single source of truth for IP assets (incl. invention disclosures, as-filed documents, correspondence (incl. outside counsel, patent offices), instructions, incoming correspondence etc.)
• Provide data quality checks across the Docketing COE, following country specific processes ensuring data integrity, identifying gaps in knowledge and potential efficiency gains through process development.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the IP docketing tool working with the Director and Systems Admin to utilize workflows and available infrastructure to drive efficiencies and standard work.
• Participate in problem solving processes (PSPs) and utilize Danaher’s Business System (DBS) tools to address repeated issues/missed KPIs

Preferred Background and Skills:

• 2+ years’ experience handling global IP docketing.
• Proficiency in use of IP docketing tools including IP Folio and Foundation IP, other docketing tools.
• Familiarity of US, EP, and foreign Patent IP law prosecution practices.
• Data driven, detail-oriented individual.
• Champions continuous improvement to deliver and improve results.
• Ability to prioritize work and align priorities with stakeholders' needs.
• Ability to positively address change management.
