Description
We are seeking a senior DMPK scientist who can play a leading role in driving DMPK strategies as a program representative for projects from early discovery through to the clinic. The qualified candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of both in vitro and in vivo ADME and pharmacokinetics. Being capable of representing DMPK functional on multidisciplinary project teams and being responsible for progressing molecules with appropriate ADME properties through lead optimization to clinical candidate nomination is essential.
Requirements
A Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field. 1~3 years of relevant industry experience is required. A strong understanding of ADME and pharmacokinetic principles and experience in supporting drug discovery and development as a DMPK project representative. Broad understanding of various DMPK-relevant areas such as physicochemical properties, drug-metabolizing enzymes, drug-drug interactions, and qualitative and quantitative bioanalytical techniques. Ability to translate data into project relevance, as part of anticipating and mitigating program challenges, is required. Experience in M&S tools such as Phoenix, WNL, and Gastroplus is a plus.
