We are looking for an International Distributor Operations Specialist to join our international team. In this role, you will help keep our commercial operations running smoothly by supporting international distributors, maintaining accurate customer and product data, and coordinating critical operational processes across multiple teams.

This role is based in the Netherlands and offers a remote working arrangement. The successful candidate should be willing and able to travel regularly to other international locations as required to support business needs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As our Distributor Operations Specialist, International, you will support the end-to-end order management and fulfillment process for international distributor markets supplied through the European Distribution Center. You will act as a key operational link between distributor partners and teams across International Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, the European Distribution Center, RRD, Regulatory Affairs, and other internal stakeholders.

Own the day-to-day coordination of distributor purchase orders from receipt through order entry, release, shipment, and completion.

• Review orders for accuracy, completeness, pricing, product availability, allocation requirements, requested delivery dates, and alignment with forecast assumptions.
• Monitor open orders and proactively identify risks, delays, shortages, holds, pricing discrepancies, or other fulfillment exceptions.
• Coordinate order changes, cancellations, partial fulfillment, and split shipments, ensuring updates are accurately recorded and clearly communicated.
• Partner with Supply Chain, the European Distribution Center, and fulfillment teams to clarify inventory availability and expected delivery timing.
• Serve as a primary operational contact for assigned distributor partners, providing clear updates on order status, product availability, shipment timing, delays, and allocation constraints.
• Maintain allocation trackers, operational documentation, price lists, and accurate order data across Salesforce, CRM, ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, and other applicable systems.
• Develop and analyze open-order, backlog, allocation, and fulfillment reporting, providing regular visibility to International Operations leadership.
• Investigate recurring fulfillment issues and distributor concerns, identify root causes, and work with colleagues on corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Support internal order requests and coordinate with Regulatory Affairs on country-specific distribution changes for new product releases.
• Work flexibly across international time zones and travel internationally as required, with travel of up to 25%.

EXTRA AWESOME:

You will be well positioned to succeed if you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least three years of experience in operations, supply chain, sales support, or a related environment.
• Hands-on experience with order processing and forecasting or demand planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, together with working knowledge of CRM, Salesforce, ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, and other order management systems.
• Strong spoken and written English, with clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work accurately, use initiative, manage multiple priorities, and respond calmly and confidently to changing situations.
• Experience working effectively across cultures and communicating with customers by phone and in writing.
• Experience training customers at different organizational levels.
• Fluency in English language and any additional European languages.
