As Distribution Supervisor, you'll oversee daily logistics operations while developing a collaborative team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence. You'll manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for our customers who are working on scientific research and healthcare initiatives. Using Lean methodology and our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) system, you'll support continuous improvement and optimize workflows while maintaining rigorous compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>REQUIREMENTS:<br/>• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in warehouse operations including 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience<br/>• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field<br/>• Industry certifications like APICS, LEAN, Six Sigma are a plus<br/>• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite<br/>• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and lean methodologies<br/>• Experience with cGMP, ISO and regulatory compliance preferred<br/>• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills<br/>• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment<br/>• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations<br/>• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities<br/>• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature environments (ambient, cold storage, freezer)<br/>• Ability to work different shifts and occasional overtime as needed<br/>• Valid forklift certification required or ability to obtain<br/>• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance<br/>• Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs<br/>• Multiple language abilities a plus<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $70,800.00–$90,000.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
