We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients. </i></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>The role of Director, US Medical Affairs, Neuromuscular Cross-indication will be an integral part of the US Medical Affairs team involved in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy and tactics. Reporting to the Head of Neuromuscular Therapeutic Area, the Director will work closely with cross-functionals teams to support medical, marketing, and market access activities. Additionally, the Director may be involved in external interactions with Key Opinion Leaders and Healthcare Providers to further the Global Medical Affairs mission to improve patient care.</p><p></p><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Medical Strategy:</b> Support the development and execution of the US Medical Affairs Neuromuscular cross-indication strategy and tactics, <span>such as advisory boards, steering committees, and insight collection</span>, ensuring alignment with enterprise‑level Medical Affairs objectives</p></li><li><p>Serve as the <b>Medical Affairs representative</b> on cross‑functional teams, ensuring medical alignment with Commercial, Clinical Development, Global MA, and Evidence Generation partners for above indication strategy</p></li><li><p><b><span>Internal Medical Representation</span></b><b>:</b> Provide support for Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups. Assist and collaborate with Medical Affairs colleagues to track priority Medical Affairs tactics. Provide clarity to Indication Leads and cross‑functional partners to ensure scientific rigor and strategic clarity across the neuromuscular portfolio</p></li><li><p><b><span>Scientific &amp; Medical Expertise:</span></b><span> Acquire and continuously maintain the highest scientific and medical expertise for relevant indications within the neuromuscular therapeutic area and be acknowledged internally and externally as an expert contributor. </span>Contribute and assist in delivering relevant training and materials for the broader Medical Affairs teams</p></li><li><p><b><span>External KOL Engagement: Support</span></b><span> identification and development of productive collaborations with clinical experts, other important customers and stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><b><span>Compliance and Integrity:</span></b><span> Ensure all Medical Affairs activities maintain the highest standards, comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulation, as well as argenx policies and procedures</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Competencies:</b></p><ul><li><p><b><span>Cross-functional Engagement</span></b><span>: Highly collaborative, goal-oriented, results-driven. Proven record of building strong cross-functional relationships and successfully navigating competing priorities </span></p></li><li><p><b><span>Scientific and Medical Expertise:</span></b><span> Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical/scientific literature and landscape to develop effective medical affairs strategies. Ability to develop and maintain deep knowledge in complex disease areas, treatments and clinical development plans. Ability to build productive collaborations with medical experts</span></p></li><li><p><b><span>Key Attributes:</span></b><span> Growth mindset, agile, flexible, and high emotional intelligence</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education, Experience and Qualifications:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years industry experience working in Medical Affairs preferred</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years biopharmaceutical industry or post-graduate experience required</p></li><li><p><span>Specific biopharmaceutical industry experience in neurology, immunology, or rare disease highly desirable </span></p></li><li><p>Proficiency in scientific and clinical data review and interpretation</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills</p></li><li><p><span>Detailed understanding of regulations and practices, including related to industry interactions with healthcare professionals and product access </span></p></li><li><p><span>Willingness to travel, up to 40% of time, as needed</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>‎ </p>For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $248,000.00 - $341,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.<p></p><p>This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies.
