Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Vice President of US NSCLC Commercial, the Director of US Commercial Pipeline & Planning will serve as a strategic and operational leader across the NSCLC commercial work. This individual will be responsible for pipeline strategy planning and operations and will drive the US commercial strategy, lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, manage planning processes and budgets, and ensure disciplined execution against business objectives, all this while helping drive culture in an exciting, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.
This role is designed for a strong enterprise thinker and hands-on operator who can translate strategy into action. The Director will partner closely with the VP and cross-functional leaders across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Finance, Medical Affairs, Analytics, Training, and Legal/Compliance to align priorities, accelerate decision-making, and drive execution excellence. The role will also be involved in strategic planning, leadership communications, operating cadence, and special projects.
The ideal candidate brings deep biopharmaceutical commercial experience, strong project management discipline, financial acumen, and the executive presence to influence across functions and levels.
This position may be based remotely or from the company’s headquarters in Redwood City, CA, with travel as needed (not expected to exceed 10% if HQ-based).
Essential Duties
Drive development, tracking, and execution of the annual business plan, brand plan priorities, launch readiness activities, quarterly business reviews, and other key commercial planning processes.
Drive strategy development for the commercial planning process and responsible for the execution of outcomes and performance against the plans.
Serve as a key strategic partner to the VP by helping set agendas, prepare leadership materials, drive follow-up actions, and ensure effective operating rhythm across the business.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and advance critical initiatives that support commercial objectives, launch preparation, organizational readiness, and business performance.
Build and maintain integrated project plans across key workstreams; identify risks, dependencies, and resource gaps; and proactively escalate issues with recommended solutions.
Support development and refinement of US commercial strategy for the NSCLC portfolio, including market opportunity assessments, scenario planning, strategic choices, and partnership with global and PDAC teams
Partner with Finance and commercial leadership to develop, manage, and monitor budgets, including operating expenses, agency spend, headcount-related planning, and strategic investment decisions.
Ensure commercial operating expenses are managed within budget and in alignment with company objectives, with clear visibility into spend, forecasts, and tradeoffs.
Develop executive-level presentations, strategic narratives, dashboards, and business updates for senior leadership, commercial reviews, and cross-functional governance meetings.
Translate complex business data and inputs into clear recommendations and action plans for leadership decision-making.
Partner closely with Commercial Operations and Analytics to define success metrics, monitor business performance, and drive accountability against key milestones and objectives.
Support launch excellence by coordinating milestone planning, functional interdependencies, readiness reviews, and issue resolution across the commercial matrix.
Drive special projects on behalf of the VP and broader commercial leadership team, including organizational design, process improvement, strategic off-sites, and high-priority business initiatives.
Help foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, transparency, urgency, and patient impact.
Ensure all plans, processes, and activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and all applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Travel as needed.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:
MA/MS/BA/BS degree and 10+ years of biopharma industry experience.
Oncology experience required.
Demonstrated experience leading highly cross-functional initiatives and driving complex projects from strategy through execution.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously, establish clear milestones, and deliver against aggressive timelines.
Experience supporting commercial planning processes such as annual planning, launch readiness, portfolio prioritization, quarterly business reviews, and executive governance.
Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budget planning, spend tracking, forecasting, and resource prioritization.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive presentations and influencing senior leaders.
Proven ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple key priorities and influence without direct authority.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to travel to meetings, training programs, and field engagements, as needed.
Preferred Skills:
MBA or other advanced business or scientific degree.
NSCLC and/or thoracic oncology experience.
Prior commercial operations, strategic planning, or business management consultant supporting a senior commercial executive.
Experience supporting oncology product launch planning and execution.
Experience partnering closely with Finance on commercial budget management and investment planning.
Understanding of key commercial functions relevant to this role, including marketing, sales, market access, training, analytics, and field operations.
Experience building executive dashboards, business review content, and governance materials for senior leadership teams.
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement practical operating improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate across functions and levels while maintaining trust and alignment.
