<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><p></p><p>You will lead Oncology scientific communications strategy and execution for assigned Pfizer programs and across a tumor area—driving a single, evidence-anchored scientific voice aligned to Therapeutic Area (TA) priorities and ensuring effective tactical delivery to optimize engagement, consistency, and reach of emerging oncology data.</p><p>You will also serve as an SME in one of these capabilities:</p><ul><li><p><b>TA Scientific Communications</b> --integrated messaging; SCPs, narratives, FAQs</p></li><li><p><b>Data Disclosure/Publications</b> --publication planning, writing, dissemination</p></li><li><p><b>Medical Content</b> --scientific content across channels/audiences, including congress/digital)</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and lead integrated scientific communications strategies aligned with Oncology Medical TA priorities and informed by internal and external stakeholder input.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Global Product Teams and Medical franchises to support external engagement around key clinical trial data readouts.</p></li><li><p>Ensure alignment of product‑level scientific communications with medical priorities through cross‑functional collaboration (e.g., Medical, Channel Excellence, Data Analytics, Clinical Development, Corp Comms, Clinical Operations, Leadership Teams).</p></li><li><p>Serve as a strategic thought partner to TA Medical teams, providing scientific communications expertise and functional leadership.</p></li><li><p>Manage planning, forecasting, and budgets for scientific communications deliverables, including oversight of agency and offshore partners as applicable.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with International Medical Channel Content teams to enable global asset sharing and country‑level adaptation.</p></li><li><p>Maintain deep therapeutic area knowledge across inline and pipeline assets and act as a trusted scientific resource or connector to subject matter experts.</p></li><li><p>Build strong cross‑functional and Medical partnerships to enable effective, channel‑specific medical communications strategies.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. and Global regulations/guidance related to digital scientific communications for external HCPs.</p></li><li><p> Accountable for strategic oversight of TA scientific communication activities and the overarching scientific communications objectives/strategy/narrative, ensuring alignment and excellence in delivery</p></li></ul><p></p><ul></ul><p><b>MINIMUM</b> <b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant biopharmaceutical/biotech or agency experience (e.g., Medical Communications, Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within Clinical Development roles).</p></li><li><p>Experience developing strategic scientific communications and other scientific content to support scientific exchange, including the use of tools and programs to meet the needs of HCPs.</p></li><li><p>Have a strong understanding of Medical Affairs, including medical strategies, disease areas, and objectives.</p></li><li><p>Experience quickly building rapport and credibility with key internal and key external stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills; strong matrix leadership</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts and data into meaningful and digestible communications and foundational tools that can be utilized via multiple channels including at scientific conferences.</p></li><li><p>Strong written and oral communication skills including experience developing and presenting scientific information to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a highly regulated environment and delivering scientific content in a compliant yet innovative manner, leveraging the latest technologies to ease the consumption of critical scientific information.</p></li><li><p>Experience with omnichannel, including diverse content development – such as publications, plain language summaries, Congress materials, publication extenders, podcasts, and short-form articles for 3rd party digital platforms.</p></li><li><p>Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li><p>PhD/PharmD with a minimum of  7 years of relevant experience OR</p></li><li><p>MS with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Oncology experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.</p><p></p><p><b>NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p></p><p>Travel 15-20% and work in different time zones</p><p></p><p><b>WORK LOCATION ASSSIGNMENT:</b> This is a hybrid role requiring you to live within commuting distance and work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week.</p><p></p><p><b>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p></p><p>Ability to work on teams, office job involving use of computer, ability to work with multi-cultural colleagues in different time zones</p><p></p><p></p><p><br /> </p>&amp;#xa;The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
