Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a culture of internal promotion, we empower you to reach your full potential and contribute to projects that truly matter.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><span>To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a </span><b><span>Director, Operations/ Utilities Business </span></b><span>located in </span><b><span>Dallas</span></b><span>, </span><b><span>TX. </span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Reporting to the </span><b><span>General Manager </span></b><span>the </span><b><span> Director, Operations /Utilities Business </span></b><span>who is in charge of managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations to achieve and maintain operational excellence.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost.</span></li><li><span>Define operational financial goals.</span></li><li><span>Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L.</span></li><li><span>Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.</span></li><li><span>Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.</span></li><li><span>Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI's.</span></li><li><span>Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.</span></li><li><span>Partner with other business to establish strategic plans and goals.</span></li><li><span>Direct and control the activities on purchasing business, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.</span></li><li><span>Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in a related field; an MBA is preferred.</span></li><li><span>10 -15 years of industry experience, with at least 3 -5 years in a Director of Production and Operations role.</span></li><li><span>Extensive experience overseeing operations across all three shifts.</span></li><li><span>Strong background in P&L management, with demonstrated financial acumen.</span></li><li><span>Extensive experience in assembly processes, and automation systems.</span></li><li><span>Expertise in managing high- and low-volume production and high- and low-mix product environments.</span></li><li><span>Ability to effectively influence senior leadership, executives, and key clients.</span></li><li><span>Hands-on experience with NPI (New Product Introduction), guiding new customer programs from concept through successful execution and delivery.</span></li><li><span>Strong sales development capabilities and excellent operational and financial management skills.</span></li><li><span>Client-focused with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively to meet technical and operational needs.</span></li><li><span>Extensive experience in expansion and ramping up.</span></li></ul><p><span>KR13</span></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you'll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Relocation: Eligible for domestic relocation only<h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Is Sponsorship Available?</p>No<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Crown is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
