This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of impactful medical strategies.</p> <p>Reporting directly to the VP Medical Affairs – Neuromuscular, this individual will utilize the medical strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, and medical operations best practices to drive and track the successful completion of medical tactics including designing and communicating regular KPIs and dashboards. Director, Medical Operations & Strategic Planning will collaborate with internal stakeholders to navigate the Bridge Bio Neuromuscular process for compliance and project completion.</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead strategic planning and execution of Medical Affairs initiatives aligned with corporate objectives</li> <li>Drive operational excellence through process improvement, change management, and performance tracking</li> <li>Lead the annual planning process, including budget development, resource allocation, and goal setting</li> <li>Develop and maintain global standards and best practices for Medical Affairs activities including grants, symposia, advisory boards, and scientific exchange in collaboration with key cross-functional partners</li> <li>Enhance and oversee metrics and KPIs to track performance fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation</li> <li>Monitor industry trends and regulatory guidance to inform strategic decisions and maintain compliance</li> <li>Effectively manage multiple vendor and agency relationships, ensuring that BridgeBio Neuromuscular interests are well represented and addressed</li> <li>Organize departmental meetings including setting agendas and managing project updates</li> <li>Manage MRC, educational grant, and Investigator Sponsored Trial (IST) processes</li> <li>Oversee contracting and processing of SOWs and consultant agreements</li> <li>Lead monthly and annual budget tracking</li> <li>Provide leadership and mentorship to Medical Affairs team members</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Where You'll Work</u></strong></p> <p>This a U.S-based remote role that will require quarterly, or as needed visits to our San Francisco Office.</p> <p><strong><u>Who You Are</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or related fields within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or equivalent experience</li> <li>Proven track record in strategic planning, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration</li> <li>Experience with workflow management software (i.e Smartsheet, ZS, Visio, Cybergrants)</li> <li>Experience with Veeva MedComms or PromoMats</li> <li>Ability to make appropriate decisions to operationalize and move key projects forward</li> <li>Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects</li> <li>Ability to prioritize tasks and resources, meet deadlines, and be flexible to changing priorities</li> <li>Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and Medical Affairs operations.</li> <li>Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 20%</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Rewarding Those Who Make the Mission Possible</u></strong></p> <p>We have high expectations for our team members.
