Cogent’s lead program, bezuclastinib, is designed to selectively and potently inhibit exon 17 mutations found within the KIT receptor tyrosine kinase, including KIT D816V. KIT D816V is responsible for driving a rare and serious condition called Systemic Mastocytosis, and exon 17 mutations are also found in patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a type of cancer with strong dependence on oncogenic KIT signaling. Bezuclastinib has exhibited promising initial data across all three trials: APEX in AdvSM, SUMMIT in NonAdvSM and PEAK in GIST, including an encouraging safety profile across 600+ patients in single agent and combination dosing.&nbsp; <hr> The Role:&nbsp; This critical role will lead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing operations supporting the launch of bezuclastinib, Cogent Biosciences’ key pipeline asset. This role ensures compliant, efficient, and impactful delivery of promotional content, omnichannel campaigns, key marketing KPI’s, and speaker program operations. The Director will serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors, driving operational excellence and enabling speed-to-market in a highly regulated and complex therapeutic landscape.&nbsp; <hr> Responsibilities: <div> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Serve as a strategic partner to the bezuclastinib brand team, ensuring Marketing Operations aligns with Cogent Commercial objectives to enhance executional effectiveness.</li> <li>Develop and implement a marketing operations strategy aligned with the unique needs of bezuclastinib and its potential three indications.&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in operational processes to support agility, scalability, and compliance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor oversight to support commercial execution.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Promotional Review &amp; Content Approval&nbsp; <ul> <li>Key commercial lead for the Cogent internal promotional review process (MLR) and manage the end-to-end content approval process for key commercial materials.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure timely and compliant review of promotional materials, including HCP and patient-facing assets.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage critical systems supporting these processes such as Veeva Vault PromoMats and ensure system optimization for content approval workflows.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Omnichannel Campaign Orchestration&nbsp; <ul> <li>Work with marketing to ensure the execution of complex customer engagement plans into high-performing omnichannel campaigns across HCP, patient, and caregiver audiences.</li> <li>Collaborate with analytics teams to integrate insights into campaign design and optimization.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure systems and platforms readiness to track key data and metrics for campaign effectiveness and measurement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure personalization and precision in outreach, leveraging data and segmentation strategies.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Speaker Programs &amp; Event Management&nbsp; <ul> <li>Oversee speaker bureau operations, including nomination, contracting, onboarding, and program logistics.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, transfer of value) and internal policies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead execution of congresses, conventions, and field-sponsored events with a focus on ensuring full optimization of congress presence and execution.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Agency &amp; Vendor Management&nbsp; <ul> <li>Manage agency selection, onboarding, performance tracking, and contract alignment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Establish KPIs and ensure high-quality deliverables that support brand objectives and scientific integrity.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Training &amp; Governance&nbsp; <ul> <li>Develop and deliver training programs for internal stakeholders and agency partners.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain SOPs and process documentation tailored to the key indications for bezuclastinib marketing operations.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <hr> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>8–10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant experience in oncology and/or rare diseases preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>5+ years of developing, accelerating and standardizing omnichannel operations processes aligned with the wider omnichannel vision &nbsp;</li> <li>Proven leadership in promotional review, omnichannel execution, and vendor management.</li> <li>Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including FDA, PAAB, and global compliance standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple marketing operations functions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong business acumen with experience translating strategic priorities into operational execution.</li> <li>Experience with key systems and platforms such as Veeva Vault PromoMats and Events highly preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with multiple priorities.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <hr> Salary Range: $USD 215,000 - 270,000&nbsp; <div>Target Bonus: 20-25%</div> <div>Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and location.</div> <div><hr></div> <div> <div>Our Locations</div> <div> Waltham, MA: Our&nbsp;headquarters is located in the Greater&nbsp;Boston&nbsp;life sciences&nbsp;community, with&nbsp;an open, collaborative office environment designed&nbsp;to support teamwork and connection.
