<p><em>Position Title:     Director, Marketing         </em></p> <p><em>Department:      Marketing                        </em></p> <p><em>Reports To:        Vice President, Marketing</em></p> <p><em>Date:                  December 2025</em></p> <p>☒ Exempt          ☐ Non-Exempt</p> <p><em>Summary of Position:</em><em> </em></p> <p>The Director, Marketing will be the steward of key marketing work-streams, including personal promotional tactics, message evolution, Payor/government marketing, Speaker development, sales training alignment, vendor management, etc.  The Director, Marketing will work closely across commercial and non-commercial functions to ensure alignment of core messaging that optimizes the value proposition for Paratek products, specifically, XHANCE. </p> <p>Key responsibilities include:<em> </em></p> <ul> <li>Primary owner of XHANCE brand activities</li> <li>Creation / evolution of branded campaigns and campaign materials for the US market including payor and government</li> <li>Development of clear and succinct approved messaging that resonates with the perceptions and attitudes of HCPs</li> <li>Selection and management of creative agencies to deliver on internally developed priorities</li> <li>Optimization of promotional touchpoints across all personal and non-personal channels (including digital / omni-channel considerations, next best interactions, etc.)</li> <li>Effective collaboration with medical, legal, and regulatory review committee to shepherd promotional materials aligned to brand positioning</li> <li>Partnership with operational, analytical, and IT functions to ensure alignment of content and optimization of HCP resources</li> <li>Setting of KPIs to determine effectiveness of campaigns</li> <li>Collaboration with Market Research to assess and validate positioning, value proposition, and opportunities for brand differentiation, as well as optimize analytical support for the brand</li> <li>Coordinated planning with Sales management, Operations, and Sales Training to ensure optimal execution within the sales organization <ul> <li>Work effectively with and across Sales Teams to achieve execution of plan</li> </ul> </li> <li>Partnership with Market Access and Trade to ensure branding alignment and coordination of materials across customers</li> <li>Compliant collaboration with Medical Affairs and Field Medical teams</li> <li>Coordination of annual Business Planning process across all indications</li> <li>Development of the annual brand budget process as well as ensuring cross-functional alignment of annual priority setting and budgets</li> <li>Effective alignment to the established corporate and industry compliance guidelines</li> <li>Interactions with field management and representatives to gain market intelligence and gauge efficacy of materials</li> <li>Effective collaboration with Marketing leads on DTP (Direct to Patient) and NPP (Non personal promotion)</li> </ul> <p><em>Candidate Requirements:</em><em> </em></p> <ul> <li>Emulates Paratek’s Core Values: Purposeful, Passionate, Collaboration and Resourceful</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in science or business discipline; advanced degree preferred</li> <li>15 or more years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, including relevant experience working on, or with, digital, social media, and non-personal promotion</li> <li>Strong understanding of managed care environment</li> <li>Demonstrated cross-functional knowledge base including but not limited to market research and analytics, market access, medical affairs, field sales, regulatory compliance, and clinical development principles</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage coordination of cross-functional projects in complex matrix environments</li> <li>Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional and cross-geographical team environment</li> <li>Demonstrated effectiveness working on multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Effective communication and high-impact presentation skills<em> </em></li> </ul> <p><em>Additional Information:</em><em> </em></p> <ul> <li>Travel expectations (%) 20%</li> <li>Technology skills: Microsoft Office, marketing automation software</li> </ul>
