Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (Strategic Customer Group, SCG) is recruiting for a Director, Market Access Marketing, Precision Medicine & Solid Tumor Pipeline.

This role has dual accountability for advancing U.S. Precision Medicine Market Access capabilities and leading Market Access strategy and launch readiness for late-stage Solid Tumor Prostate pipeline assets.

The Director will serve as the primary Market Access partner to the Precision Medicine team within PS&E, embedding Precision Medicine access insights and capabilities across brand-aligned Market Access teams while shaping access, evidence, reimbursement, testing, and customer requirements for pipeline assets with Precision Medicine components.

In parallel, the Director will lead Market Access planning and execution for late-stage Prostate pipeline assets, serving as a critical bridge between New Product Business Development (NPBD), Precision Medicine, Global Market Access, and inline Value, Access & Pricing teams.

Key Responsibilities

This role has two primary responsibilities:

Precision Medicine Market Access

• Serve as the primary Market Access partner to the PS&E Precision Medicine team.
• Embed Precision Medicine Market Access capabilities, insights, tools, and best practices across brand-aligned Market Access teams.
• Lead the development and evolution of Precision Medicine Market Access customer-facing resources and engagement strategies that enable PMAMs to effectively address biomarker testing access, coverage, reimbursement, and patient identification barriers, including support for the launch of an asset and future precision medicine-enabled assets.
• Translate evolving payer, provider, laboratory benefit manager, and testing-market dynamics into actionable strategies that improve testing access, patient identification, and treatment adoption.
• Partner across Global Market Access, NPBD, Medical Affairs, Value & Evidence, Commercial, and Brand teams to shape Market Access requirements for pipeline assets with Precision Medicine components.
• Ensure access, evidence, testing, and customer perspectives are incorporated into development and commercialization plans to support successful future launches.

Solid Tumor Pipeline Strategy & Execution

• Lead Market Access strategy, go-to-market planning, and launch readiness for late-stage Solid Tumor Prostate pipeline assets.
• Serve as the primary bridge between NPBD and inline VAP teams to ensure seamless transition from development through launch.
• Represent Market Access strategy within launch readiness and commercialization governance forums.
• Anticipate and address evolving payer, provider, pathway, reimbursement, and biomarker-testing dynamics to optimize launch success.
• Manage key agency partnerships and budgets to deliver high-quality execution.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device, or related healthcare industries, including significant Market Access experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. payer, provider, reimbursement, and healthcare delivery dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Oncology experience required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred

• Precision Medicine, companion diagnostic, biomarker testing, NGS, or diagnostic Market Access experience.
• Solid Tumor and/or Prostate cancer experience.
• Late-stage pipeline and launch-readiness experience.
• Prior customer-facing or account management experience.
• People leadership experience.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$164,000.00 - $282,900.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
