Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead deployment of global HR policies across assigned country/countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and cultural relevance.
- Partner with HR CoEs and Legal to conduct impact assessments and oversee policy localization.
- Oversee HR-related audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.
- Provide country leadership and HRBPs with insights into compliance trends, risk exposure, and legislative changes.
- Act as a strategic advisor to HRBPs, CoEs, and country leadership to align people initiatives with business goals.
- Drive strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and change management efforts.
- Represent the country in global HR initiatives, ensuring feasibility and alignment.
- Serve as escalation point for complex employee relations cases (T3 escalations).
- Manage relationships with employee representative bodies (e.g., Works Councils, Trade Unions).
- Monitor and improve employee lifecycle processes for compliance and efficiency.
- Own Workday knowledge base content for the assigned country.
- Lead deployment of culture and engagement initiatives.
- Provide people data and analytics to support HR and business decisions.
- Mentor and develop HR team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience across HR compliance, employee relations, and policy advisory, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of employment law, data privacy, and labor relations within the country.
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Experience managing HR teams and influencing across HRBP, Legal, and Compliance functions.
- Proven track record in country-level HR audits, policy harmonization, and ER case management.
- Skilled in designing governance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and advisory skills to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making.
- Fluency in local language(s) and business-level English.
