We are seeking a strategic, creative digital leader to join Insulet’s Global Brand and Marketing Acceleration team. This individual thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment focused on transforming diabetes care, brings a solution-oriented mindset, and can balance competing priorities across teams, regions, and time zones.

The Director of Website Strategy role is global in scope and will lead Omnipod.com and related digital marketing initiatives in partnership with teams across the enterprise. This leader will shape the digital roadmap, align website strategy to business goals, and advance a modern, high-performing customer experience across content, brand, SEO, personalization, analytics, and conversion optimization. The ideal candidate brings strategic, technical, and collaborative strengths, with the curiosity and judgment to stay ahead of emerging digital and AI-enabled capabilities and translate them into practical opportunities that improve engagement, efficiency, and business impact. This person will serve as a global thought leader for Insulet’s digital presence, ensuring our efforts are cohesive, measurable, innovative, and future-ready.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation

• Lead Omnipod.com’s global digital presence, including content architecture, brand expression, best practices, and standards, in partnership with teams across the organization.

• Ensure a robust global digital strategy with consistent branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints.

• Develop end-to-end website and funnel strategies with Digital Product and UX, including conversion rate optimization testing.

• Optimize global digital funnels to drive leads, education, loyalty, and retention.

• Align digital strategies to business goals. Lead the development of a multi-year roadmap and engender followership for vision.

• Establish global website governance, including intake, prioritization, standards, and roadmap alignment across regions and franchises.

• Quantitatively improve the customer journey and Omnipod experience across digital touchpoints.

Website Content Standards and Management

• Guide content strategy with partners from early development to ensure sitewide cohesion.

• Ensure content is optimized for SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery experiences.

• Partner with Global Brand and UX to ensure digital brand expression is consistent with brand guidelines.

• Partner with Product and Regional Marketing to clarify digital needs, align requests globally, and prioritize delivery.

Digital Performance

• Partner with Insights & Analytics to drive global digital performance through data and insights.

• Establish global best practices and dashboards for a consolidated view of digital performance.

• Partner with cross-functional teams on conversion rate optimization and live site testing.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Drive strategy, thought leadership, and execution across global digital marketing channels to improve performance, efficiency, and collaboration.

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Digital Product, and User Experience.

• Lead and mentor a team of digital professionals.

Innovation and Trends

• Unlock Insulet’s digital potential by advancing current capabilities and exploring new channels, tools, and tactics.

• Balance innovation with stable, reliable, and compliant digital experiences.

• Monitor market, competitive, and AI trends to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging digital capabilities.

• Diabetes, medical device, healthcare, and/or HIPAA-regulated product experience preferred

Required Skills and Competencies

• Experience leading enterprise website transformation and high-impact digital initiatives

• Experience translating digital, AI, and customer experience trends into business opportunities

• Strategic judgment and cross-functional decision-making skills
• Deep fluency in analytics, measurement, and performance optimization

• Command of web technologies, CMS/CRM platforms, and scalable website practices

• Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including email, social, content, personalization, and engagement

• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to improve experience, content, search, testing, analytics, and efficiency

• Experience using research, testing, and experimentation to improve customer outcomes

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required

• 12+ years of industry experience; digital experience required, multinational experience a plus

• Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Travel is estimated at 30-40% and may flex based on business needs; international travel may be required

• Flexibility to take morning and evening calls to align with international business hours as needed 

 

Additional Information:

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $177,300.00 - $265,950.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
