Summary:

The Director, Global Market Access and Pricing Strategy, Cell Therapy will be responsible for defining and driving integrated global market access, pricing, reimbursement, and launch/market expansion strategies for one or more assets across the Cell Therapy portfolio. The role may support marketed products, launch assets, or earlier-stage programs depending on business priorities, portfolio needs, and the experience of the successful candidate. The Director will ensure that payer, pricing, evidence, policy, and value considerations are fully integrated into asset-level and portfolio-level decision making across development, launch preparation, commercialization, and lifecycle management. This role will report to the Executive Director, Global Market Access, Cell Therapy.

The position is highly strategic and cross-functional, operating within a complex, matrixed global organization. The Director will work in close partnership with the core Global Market Access team, including HEOR and Pricing leads, and with a broad extended team spanning Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Policy, Advocacy, and Business Insights & Analytics. The role will also actively engage with regional and local market access stakeholders worldwide to ensure global strategies are robust, coherent, adaptable, and executable in a rapidly evolving access landscape.

Success in this role requires a motivated, inclusive, and decisive leader with strong global access expertise, a proven ability to navigate complexity, and the confidence to make and communicate difficult strategic trade-offs. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of shaping access strategy for oncology, hematology, specialty biologics, or advanced therapies; influencing senior-level decision making; and clearly articulating strategic recommendations across functions and levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated worldwide pricing, access, reimbursement, and launch strategies for assigned Cell Therapy assets across development, launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management. Define global pricing strategy, price corridors, access archetypes, launch sequencing considerations, and pricing assumptions, while balancing speed to patient access, sustainability of value, pricing discipline, and long-term franchise objectives
• Serve as the Worldwide Market Access lead to relevant Global Product Teams and governance forums, ensuring payer and HTA perspectives are embedded early and consistently into development and commercial strategies. Shape clinical development plans, registrational trial designs, and evidence generation priorities to address evolving payer and HTA requirements across key markets
• Collaborate across the Global Market Access organization, including Pricing, HEOR, US Access Strategy, and regional and local access teams, to holistically assess opportunities and risks. Translate market, policy, reimbursement, and competitive dynamics into clear strategic recommendations and practical mitigation plans
• Lead the Global Market Access Core Team, Value Strategy Team, or other cross-functional access forums for assigned assets, ensuring alignment across functions and geographies and driving clear strategic direction, prioritization, launch readiness, and execution
• Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Policy, Advocacy, Business Insights & Analytics, and regional teams to monitor the external environment and continuously adapt market access strategy across the asset lifecycle
• Contribute to Cell Therapy portfolio strategy, long-range planning, portfolio prioritization, and business development evaluations by providing integrated access, pricing, reimbursement, evidence, and policy perspectives. Build strong, trust-based relationships across functions and geographies to enable aligned decision making, best-practice sharing, and consistent execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field; advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD, MSc, MBA) preferred.
• Deep understanding of the current and evolving global market access environment, including pricing, reimbursement, HTA, and HEOR frameworks, and how these can be leveraged to advance differentiated payer value propositions
• 8+ years of experience in market access, pricing, HEOR, or related roles within the healthcare or biopharmaceutical industry.

• Strong knowledge of the drug development and commercialization process, supported by a solid scientific background or equivalent experience enabling assessment of clinical development plans from a payer perspective
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and critically evaluate clinical trial designs, endpoints, and evidence implications for access
• Launch and/or late-stage development experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience in oncology, hematology, specialty biologics, or advanced therapies is preferred. Cell Therapy experience is an advantage but is not required.

• Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with the proven ability to assess complex strategic trade-offs, synthesize multiple perspectives, and distill clear, pragmatic recommendations to support senior-level decision making.

• Proven ability to clearly and credibly articulate worldwide access strategy to senior, cross-functional stakeholders, including audiences with varying levels of familiarity with market access dynamics across disease areas or geographies.

• Demonstrated success leading and influencing cross-functional, matrixed teams, with the confidence and judgment to constructively challenge partners and drive alignment when needed.

• High degree of effectiveness in navigating international and multicultural environments and working across regions, functions, and organizational levels.

• Strong prioritization and execution skills, with experience managing multiple strategic initiatives in parallel while delivering high-quality outcomes in a timely manner.

• Comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving scientific, competitive, reimbursement, and policy landscape, with the demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt strategy as new information emerges.

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.
